Boris Johnson is at risk of not becoming the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom as the opinion polls begin to narrow.
As is currently stands, Tory membership overwhelmingly supports Boris Johnson, but a shock poll last night suggests that could be changing.
Last week 55% of people who voted Conservative in 2017, questioned by Survation, said Boris would make the best PM, with 28% favouring rival Jeremy Hunt .
But yesterday, just 45% of Tory voters backed Mr Johnson – while the proportion backing Jeremy Hunt rose to 34%.
It is clear that Boris will have to be careful in the coming weeks ahead. The media stitch-up regarding his personal life has clearly had a minor impact.
