Team Boris will issue a statement within hours outlining the next steps within the Brexit process. As it currently stands, meetings have been ongoing with the DUP and others to secure support for Boris’ revised withdrawal arrangement.
The Conservative party has been split over the Withdrawal Arrangement. The UK was meant to leave the European Union in March, but this did not occur due to the House failing to back Theresa May’s surrender document, which would of potentially locked the UK into the EU’s customs union, indefinitely.
As of tonight, Team Boris will confirm whether or not the European Union has agreed to a revised withdrawal arrangement, one which scraps the undemocratic backstop. It’s not clear yet if the House of Commons will accept the deal.
The United Kingdom has been waiting to leave the European Union since 2016, unfortunately, this has been delayed time and time again, mainly due to the Remainers blocking the UK from leaving the EU without a withdrawal arrangement.
