Royal Navy Intervention As EU Foreign Vessel Steals Tonnes of British Fish Before Brexit

The United Kingdom Royal Navy has been called to action by UK Fishermen, as a foreign vessel ploughs through British waters ‘stealing’ tonnes of UK fish before the UK’s departure from the EU.

A Lithuanian vessel has been spotted on the English Channel. It has been there for days catching thousands of tonnes of British fish. UK fishermen have raised concerns that the foreign vessel is aiming to catch “all they can” before the UK leaves the Foreign Fisheries Policy.

The United Kingdom was meant to leave the European Union in March. The Conservative government under Theresa May failed to deliver on a promise of “no deal is better than a bad deal.”. Ultimately, a bad deal was offered, and subsequently Theresa May resigned, leaving her successor, Boris Johnson, to pick up the pieces.

The United Kingdom is now hoping that once it leaves the European Union it can take back control of key elements of its fishing rights. The United Kingdom will have the full opportunity to flourish once it has fully left the European on a clean-slate Brexit.
