There has been a significant update on Prince Philip’s health as he was reportedly been seen on the grounds of the Balmoral estate, the 97 year old looked fit and healthy as he drove around after his hip replacement. It comes as there was increased speculation on the Duke’s health, after officially retiring from royal duties.
The Duke joined his wife, Her Majesty, The Queen at a church service last month- which was a surprise for the public after staying away from the public eye for so long. The Duke of Edinburgh has also been deer stalking and reportedly enjoying picnics and barbecues in the grounds of Balmoral.
Earlier this week, Prince Philip took a drive in his Land Rover which took him up to the hills above Loch Muick, where he was spotted stopping to open a gate and chatting to a cyclist on a country lane.
Many on social media are pleased to see Philip back fit and in good health, one person said: “It is great to see Prince Philip back to normal health, I hope he doesn’t push himself too hard after his operation and he takes a smooth route back into his hobbies.”
