Police Involved As BBC Allow Jo Brand Sick Joke About Throwing Acid on MPs

The police are allegedly getting involved due to comedian, Jo Brand, making a joke regarding battery acid and MPs.

The comedian made the remark on BBC radio 4, where she claimed that people should not throw milkshakes over MPs, but “battery acid” instead. Many have called her remarks sickening, especially as other high profile BBC stars have been sacked recently for misconduct.

The comedian refuses to accept that what she said was wrong, and has labelled it a “joke”. Personally, it is a joke too far, and Brand should apologise for her remarks, especially in such tense political climate.

Police are thought to be investigating for inciting hatred, but it is not clear if they will take full action. There has not been much comment from Brand, as the situation is still ongoing.
