The French President, Emanuel Macron, has been accused of trying to punish Britain by supporters of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union.
As it currently stands, the French Leader has offended Her Majesty the Queen, and Fishermen within the UK, by suggesting that France should be allowed to fish in UK waters, and last week, Macron offended the Queen, by suggesting the UK had to handover billions to France.
Boris Johnson has indicated that the United Kingdom will leave the EU without a deal, if the EU does not concede on key areas of Theresa May’s surrender treaty.
Now supporters of Brexit have said that France is seeking to punish the United Kingdom. The French President is facing increasing pressure as the riots continue to take place in France. Many are accusing Macron is using Brexit to cover-up his own failings at home.
Boris Johnson is seeking to take a tough line with France, as the French try and use Brexit to posture themselves as a “tougher” country in regard to foreign policy issues.
