The European Union is hoping that the United Kingdom will be a soft touch and allow it to purge UK waters for fish post Brexit. It comes as Boris signed the legislation to get the United Kingdom out of the European Union.
The UK, as part of the European Union, is in the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), this means that the UK has a quota on the number of fish it can catch. The CFP also allows foreign vessels to fish in UK waters. The French and Romanians are demanding access.
It’s hoped that once the United Kingdom leaves the undemocratic European Union bloc, that we will regain full control over our fishing rights as an independent and sovereign island nation. It’s hoped the UK will trade WTO and throw out any con of a trade deal that aligns us with the EU.
