The election is fast approaching with both sides of the political spectrum making some major political promises. It comes as Labour were caught dumbfounded when their election promises did not stand up to scrutiny.
The United Kingdom will go to the polls to decide who they want to govern the country. As it stands, the Conservatives are leading in the opinion polls, second comes Labour and then the Liberal Democrats trailing third.
The Labour Party has said that it will not rerun the referendum of 2016 on whether or not we remain a member of the European Union. Although, they’ve been caught out lying as their election manifesto sets out a new agenda, in which, a referendum will be called on a new relationship with the EU.
The Labour Party hope to win this election and hold more divisive referendums regarding the UK’s relationship with the European Union. The UK has long awaited to leave the EU but has been stopped by the remain faction of Parliament.
The United Kingdom has been stuck at a cross-roads. The Labour Party want to renegotiate a deal with the EU and then hold a referendum, something the public do not support. The only way to stop another referendum and leave the EU is by voting Conservative.
